J jaydog82 New member Jul 18, 2012 #5 So the intake temps are deff lower even with just the cardboard and hvac wrap. I can't wait to make them out of aluminium.

C celigts New member Jul 20, 2012 #8 Also curiouse. Cuz doesn't the stock plastic one do the same job?
J jaydog82 New member Jul 20, 2012 #9 I did not have a plastic one, mine was Mia. No noticeable cooling effects yet, but I still need to reinstall splash guards. The air box has reduced the filter temps by 15deg or so
