Excessive Oil in Vented Catch Can

Installed a new turbo kit and intake pipe which does not have the bungs that go to valve cover vent tube. Drove the car yesterday and the catch can (which is a vented catch can) filled up. The Question I have is could a failure to hook up the hose to the intake pipe somehow cause excessive oil to run into the catch can?

Any help you can provide is appreciated.

Excessive oil from a vented set up from a OEM non catch can crank case under vacuum, thats weird, vented cans IMO are pointless as there is little to draw oil vapors out, I would not expect that can to fill, especially in a day. Something is wrong for sure.

your rings are no longer holding up to the pressure and airflow you are putting in to the cylinders, causing blowby, causing the can to fill. chances are you turned up the boost when you installed the new turbo kit and chances are you got a bigger turbo, meaning are the stress inside the motor has increased. also, the pcv vacuum helps the rings seal against the cylinder walls. a car that has been run with the aid of crankcase vacuum suddenly getting more are inside the cylinders, and less suction outside to seal the rings is a recipe for blowby

when i installed my turbo i still had the pcv attached to the intake, it literally sucked oil from around my cams into the intake. the inlet of a turbo sees a lot of suction but usually this helps seal the rings and actually reduces blowby. crazy how adding a vacuum can STOP things from getting sucked out

a simple pic would make this much easier to diagnosis.
