ferrea valve issue thread
There used to be an issue thread concerning Ferrea valves on here, but I can't find it.
Anybody knows where it is?
I have 2 fractured OEM valves. I want to replace them with Ferrea valves I have in my spare head.
I read on here there were problems with a batch of Ferrea valves. People who had them were upgraded to the competition ones.
I just want to know if I put good valves in. Taking the head off is not something you want to do twice.
It was on here some time ago, few years.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks,

Re: ferrea valve issue thread
Ferrea comp + never had the issue, only the 6000 series, and only Intake valves. Ferrea corrected the problem and now have a sticker on the box, mentioning upgraded alloy. Several years ago, they would trade out bad 6000's for a set of comp plus, but i dont know if that program is still active.
Ferrea etches the P/N on the stem of the valve above the keeper groove, so you can at least verify whether you have 6000, or comp plus.
