Upgraded WTA intercooler hoses

Postby Eurus » Fri Jan 03, 2014 9:03 am

Im looking to upgrade my IC to HE hoses, as my water pump (bosch cobra) has larger inlet/ outlet fititngs. Has anyone done this on a st165, and kept the stock intercooler? If memory serves correctly, the pump is 3/4", but the stock is smaller (1/2"?); what would be the best way to go about keeping the stock IC but going with a larger hose?
Should I just use a small bit of stock size hose off the IC and just use reducer fittings, or would that have some negative affect on the flow of coolant?

Thanks for any info.

I just redid the two hoses going from the metal pipes from the ic to the pump and it was 3/4. But idk if the rc is different.
