ST165 cooling fan options

Postby JohnNK » Tue Apr 22, 2014 4:25 am

My 1988 ST165 has AC removed and I am looking to place an extra cooling fan in space used for AC. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

My car never had the AC condenser (while I've had it I mean), but I am guessing it sat in front of the rad. Given that, I have a Spal "11in Medium Profile Pusher Fan" (PN: 30101502) that I plan to run a pair of in front of the radiator. I have not installed it yet, but I have put it in there and itfits great. I can throw it in there again and take a picture if you want.

That would be helpful. I think the AC fan was a push-type that mounted on the back of the radiator next to the cooling fan.

I have 2 12" FAL fans in front of my radiator. Pushing through the radiator and pulling through the intercooler heat exchanger. They just run constant in my car.
