Manual boost controller

Which MBC's work well? I found a couple that sound nice, but would like to hear what everyone else is using. Here are the links to a couple of them.

on a sidenote, does anyone know where I can get some of that nylon tubing for a mechanical boost gauge?

Make your own..it's very easy, and very cheap. And they work just as great as any mbc you will buy, if not better. The ones you might buy (i haven't looked at your links) might have a bleeder valve on it. Usually, this will cause boost spikes unless you are boosting a pretty good amount. I suggest to just spend 15 bucks (can get them all from Ace Hardware) on parts, build it yourself, and don't drill a hole where a bleeder valve would usually be. There are links floating out there on how to make your own...hopefully someone can give a few.

But, to be considerate, i went ahead and looked at those links. They both look good, as neither suggests a bleeder type. The one from hphq looks exactly like mine...and mine's cheaper

If you want an online shop, $4.99 from Lotek.

You might found one at your local part stores.

I thought about making my own, but wasn't sure if there was a quality difference. Thanks for the responses.
