Lamont you are unfortunately very correct about the brakes looking way smaller, I never thought of that!! :/

They don't look too bad, but they don't have tires, on 19's you'd have to be running a verrrrry thin tire.

Also you can't really "slam" a T18 chassis, the design of the underbody stuff means it'll always look a tad high unless you want absolutely zero ground clearance.

I do in fact have that covered, I'm making body extensions so it gives the illusion of being lower

18x9.5 enkei kojin, 45mm offset, 255/35 tires. The rears have 25mm spacer and is about 3mm from strut. I decided not to use the 33mm spacers with hope that it clears the fenders and struts once lowered. The front doesn't clear the Revolution Brake Wilwood template, but they clear CEIKA 4 and 6pots.

center caps don't fit the front.

Just posting to see if anyone has fitted Enkei NT03+M to their 185 yet? I can't decide between it and the RPF1 although it seems the RPF1 has poor brake clearance both radially and near the spokes.

Another question for the guys running RPF1's in 18; does anyone have pictures of the inner barrel area?

These could use a 4mm-10mm spacer but they would be light and give you a different look than most.

I am wanting another set of these wheels in my 5x114 bolt pattern.

well i bit the bullet and made the order for custom offsets for the widebody

lets hope i got it right otherwise im in the hole ( @ @ )

i went for

front 16x8 + 25 Front
Rear 16x8 + 5 Rear

my mission was to escape spacers

i will start a thread of my own when i have something to actually share with you all :)

The ST185 wheel size thread (offsets, widths, etc)

Postby ALLensTRAC » Sat Apr 26, 2014 1:59 am

Well I decided to fly a little blind today and I ordered my new dress shoes. Now to figure out what to do with the 6 month waiting period. Here are the specs:
Enkei NT03+M 5x114.3 SBC
Front: 18x9.5+40
Rear: 18x9.5+27

My dealer said the wait is due to the custom color. I will have to run spacers but I won't know how thick until they arrive and I can test fit them over my big brakes. I will post pics once they are here. Now to figure out the big tires and clearance. Anyone have some insight to share regarding 285/30r18 fitment?

Here is the Photoshop Josh was so kind to make for me on Pats car:

If there is a different face for different offsets? If not I would run the same et all around so you can rotate. Since you have to run spacers anyhow.

The face is the same between both offsets but I ran into a problem running a square setup in either offset. The front would be difficult to fit in a +27 with such wide tires. If I was going for the stretched look I could pull it off but this setup is for competition. For the rear I can not use bolt on spacers with the +40 in competition due to the rules. I'm running ARP studs but with a 27mm slip on spacer I'm worried I won't have enough thread engagement to pass tech inspection. Also I am still thinking about messing with the 10.5 width +30 but that would require a lot of metal work. Maybe if DeeCee makes those wide front fenders?

Well I just talked to my buddy at work and he said our Enkei rep is on vacation until next Friday so I have a week to finalize my decision. I really wish the rpf1 would work on my brakes so I could run the +15 in the rear. That and the rpf1 flexes more than the nt03 which means there needs to be increased caliper clearance(something I don't have).
What do you guys think? Should I chance the +27 in the front? Can the fender be pushed enough at that offset to fit 11" of rubber?

What wheel did you decide on for 16"? This should be a nice setup!
