POLY BUSHINGS

I will be installing poly bushings in a few weeks on my ST165
and I would like to know if I should buy new nuts & bolts for all the bushing that I will be replacing.
Will that help any.

figure it this way, some of those bolts may break on the way out, all of that stuff has got to be what 16 years old? It cant hurt and its more than likely going to be neccessary in some situations. I'd rather waste a couple bucks buying replacement hardware than being stuck in a tough spot with nothing to fix the problem :wink:

I waited on mine, and ended taking alot longer....

The night previous to installing spray down every nut and bolt you can find with some good penetrating oil, then spray it down again in the morning, and start work at noon. That will help quite a bit for any stubborn nuts/bolts.

tapping with a hammer helps penetrating oils penetrate. just don't damage any threads/bolts
