Did you get a picture of them before installing? I'm curious if they are an actual spherical bearing or if it's just a bushing with dust seals to hide the fact it's rubber or poly. I looked at the pic in the ad but it doesn't show a good angle to tell and they don't list it as a bearing.

Thank you sir!!! That answers my question perfectly. It is in fact a bushing not a bearing.

yep it is a bushing and not a bearing like the OEM, but they are still much better alternative then solid nylon or poly imo.

I just installed these today. Best $55 ive spent. I replaced all 4 in just under an hour. It was really easy once I got the first one done. I just heated the spindle around the bushing with an oxy acetylene torch and then hit the bushing with a hammer. Once I seen it move I hammered it the rest of the way out with a socket. Then used the hammer and socket to hammer the new one in. I did use a little grease to help with install.

How have you guys been going with those Febest TAB-002RUB bearings?

Ive just ordered four of the TAB-002Z bearings.
They are listed as a replacement for the same Toyota part number, so they should fit ok.
They are a tad more expensive, so im hoping that means they are a better part than the "RUB" version.

They look like the Chinese alternative to the Toyota own part ..... The centre sleeve is not as thick as oem....should work ok but may wear quicker.....

I received the Febest bearings today.

Holographic stickers on the bearing boxes to prove they are genuine and made in Germany.
They must have had problems with chinese rip offs in the past.

There is also a note in the box apologizing for previous versions of the bearing (im guessing the TAB-002RUB version) that had "technical problems".
This new TAB-002Z version apparently fixes the problem.
