Steering wheel spins freely!

Postby Synchrite » Mon Jun 17, 2013 11:53 pm

When I look from the top near the firewall I can see where it's broken...

On this diagram, is this that part? Is there a good way to get to it, or should a newbie get it to a shop for this repair? Thanks!

Edit: had a diagram pointing to the wrong part :/

Didn't take hours, maybe an hour. Remove the bolts completely, soak in wd40 or the same lube, push up, pull down you're out. Remembering the orientation the coupler was. Install in reverse.
