ST205 Knuckle on ST185 suspension?

Postby warracer » Mon Feb 24, 2014 1:53 am

Hi,

I was wondering if the st205 knuckle were compatible on the ST185? I tried to find a part number or schematic but without luck. I know that the bore for the disc is different (and the whole brake system for that matter) but aside from that, can I use a ST205 knuckle and put it in place of the ST185 knuckle? are the CV shaft spline the same? And I do have camber bolt to adjust it if I see it needs some adjustment.

Thanks for the help! :)

Rears will fit, fronts won't. Different suspension system and would need fabrication to work. Look up st205 super strut and you will see pics of how it's setup.

OH yeah, I forgot to mention that I was talking about the rear setup and not the front... my bad. Yeah the ST205 has a completly different strut setup on the front.

Thanks for the reply, this is going to really help me in a couple of weeks :)

There are claims the holes in the spindle may adjust camber. It's good if your lowered but may be an issue at stock height. Still not verified.
