Can someone please do a write up on how to delete the ABS on a 165? I am about to do this as I have a leaking brake line and want to replace the rusty lines with new ones and don't want to make 8 freaking lines. I have half an idea of what I have to do but I still have some questions; like will I need a proportioning valve? which order to plum the lines coming out of the valve going to each wheel. What to do with the wiring on the abs brick and how to keep the abs light off ect...

I havent done it yet but you have to fab the lines at this point ( discontinued ) and find a non abs car prop valve ... someone on here is doing it right now ...

Havent yet but it closer to getting done now that I have a garage and if another line leaks. The old abs sucks and the unit is heavy. Benifits really prol not much but you lose weight of that brick and a spot to put something else. Where the lines end up leaking you really can't get to them to repair them when you have a problem either ... :bangshead:

Besides the weight loss, I thought one of the benefits was the ability to use the rear aftermarket swaybar from an ST185. The ST165 one compensated for the ABS module in the rear.

I could be wrong.
