interchangeable celica brakes parts

Postby dmlsupra » Thu Oct 16, 2014 1:39 am

I just bought a all trac, but the car will need to pass inspection.

Everything is in great shape with the car, but the brake dust shield (back plate) are rotten and I know this will not pass the inspection. Those plate are no longer available at Toyota, but the one from the 1994-1999 are still available.

My question is if anyone knows if I can fit them on my st-185, or not.

The dust shields for the all-trac are the same as the 92-93 GT, so you may be able to find some in a scrap yard.

Where do you live that dust shields are required for inspection?

problem is that they are all rusted out at the scrap yard too.

I order from Toyota a the front from a 1994-1999 GT has the seem similar, so I figured I would probably be able to use them

The car needs to pass inspection, I'm from Quebec and bought the car in Ontario, and everytime you buy a car outside our province, the car need to go to a complete inspection. I know It's crazy, but I have to do it if I want to drive the car.
