Swapping brakes/struts frequently

Postby underscore » Wed Dec 03, 2014 11:14 pm

How bad of an idea is it to swap the front brake calipers 2x a year? I know that may increase the wear on the caliper to brake line threads/bolt but aside from that is there anything to worry about? I'm debating between swapping the front brakes in the winter to clear 15's or buying 17" snow tires.

On the same note I'm debating doing the same with the coilovers/struts, can I mark the placement of everything post-alignment with each setup and then just match up the marks each time I switch? Or will I need an alignment every time?
