I have two brake setups I have taken off of parts cars that did not have ABS. I know some of the parts for deleting the abs on the 5th gen celica are no longer available new so I thought I might take my chances with parts from another car. I have never done a abs delete before so I figured Id run some things by you guys and document whatever path I go down. That is if I dont happen upon a 5th gen non abs car or parts.
Options:
1994 st non-abs parts rear drum
-drum brake bar so probably not ideal. I cant remember the difference in brake pressure between drum & disc setups.
-cant remember how many lines run to the back.
1993 mr2 w-sport non-abs parts
-single line from front to rear would simplify things & allow for an easy hydraulic ebrake install if desired
-easy to install proportioning valve for tuning rear brake pressure.
-4 wheel disc brake setup
