Widest 15s/16s possible?

So, what's the widest set of 15s or 16s that you guys have gotten to work on your ST165s and not gotten rubbing? I'm looking to get really wide tires, but wanna really make sure I'm not gonna get rubbing.

I have the 6th gen GTS OEM rims. They are 15" x 7" with 205/55/15s. The offset is 45, so I had to run 1/8" or 3mm spacers on the rears. Otherwise, they'd rub. The fronts are fine.

Odd. The stock ST165 stuff is 205/60/14, so why would you get rubbing with 205/55/15? You didn't get wider at all, and shouldn't be thicker.

The 6th gen GTS rim is 15x7 vs. the 14x6 of the stock 88.
So the rim is wider by 1.0" The offset on the 6th gens is 45mm, whereas the 88's are 39mm, hence the spacer.
