Just wondering what everyone is using for engine management. What is good for a decent price. ..?

Depends what features you need. Mega squirt is popular PNP unit as well as AEM. Haltech is really nice if you have the cash

Well I definitely want somthing that will allow me to delete the AFM and use a MAP

buy what you need not what you want....
I bought a haltech sport 1000 with can wideband and dash.... in all honesty I sprint would do what I need.
stick with the main stream as its easier to get a tuner and there for generally cheaper in the long run.

I love haltech as their support is awesome (I live in Australia, about 10 hours north of the factory)

haltech plat 1000 with racepak/wideband. replaced the entire electrical system while I was at it.

MS2 here. Thought it was great, but I used it more as a toy/hobby.

Find out who you want to tune your engine, then ask him what he knows the best.

Most of the "top" brands have good ecu`s, but the result will never be better then the tune..

I would recommend emtron sl4 or ecumaster emu.
