ive mildly looked at it... there is someone on here with the sds installed (sorry horible with names and now all of the users and old posts are deleated so i cant go and look it up) but he seemed to really like it...

a buddy of mine has one on his car and it looked pretty cool... he showed me a couple of the features like the rich lean knob that allows you to mildy increase or decrease the amount of fuel on the fly... and then ofcourse there is the hand held box which means no lap top for tuning!

there are a lot of other options to consider out there as well

the hydra nemsis
or the sdr
or even cheaper would be the megasquirt

I don't know if you have seen this but it is great info. Our cars engines are almost identical to MR2 turbo, this is the article I used to build up my cars mods and so far so good. 217whp @12psi, more soon. Skip the first part and scroll down to "Applying the Basics to the 3S-GTE", its great info, hope this helps and I will be installing the Hydra Nemesis 2 this winter. I will be flying Ricky up to Portland from Sanfrancisco to do the tuning on a dyno. You can email Ricky Benitez@ rickybenitez@hotmail.com
for any questions.

i know i've been looking into the nemesis and it looks like it could be one of the best systems out there. i don't think my wallet at this time can afford that especially with all the extras that you could buy with it....i still i don't it would be awesome to have...thats why i'm curious about sds and the ease of use...i like things that are easy especially with our motors everything seems to be task! thanks for the reply

<= running an sds with his ST165 engine. Operation and installion of the newer systems is suppose to be easier than the older systems (i have an older sds system) The only problem i'm having is finding anyone that knows enough about the system to dyno tune the car and in direct sunlight the display doesn't seem to work. Pciture of my setup

so...you haven't been able to tune it yet? does it seem to working with all your sensors? i was wondering what type of wastegate is that coming off the side of your manifold?

No, it has a rough tune from just running on the street with a wideband for a while but it hasn't been "dyno-tuned" . It's using a Tial wastegate and 3inch mandrel bent turbo back exhaust.

that looks almost like my setup under the hood! haha... i got same wastegate, 3" dp, greddy bov, fmic with silver piping and blue silicon hoses...

anyways i'm thinking about the em4 for my car too, i dunno yet still talking to ppl, weighin options, wallet, etc.
my friend is planning on building a megasquirt at school, they can make PCB's so we might make our cars the guinea pigs .. he's running a legacy turbo.

I like the way you have the intake set up. Interesting.
