Hey everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself, I'm Dann. I just wanted to get some advice from you ST165 experts.

I'm in the market for another car (my 240sx is getting some serious repairs right now) and I'm looking at a 1988 AllTrac, bone stock, and very nice looking. Body is in good shape and it looks pretty clean. I was just wondering what I should be looking for, as in, what goes wrong that has tell-tale signs that I should keep an eye out for.

Just anything in specific I should look for before I sign the check. Thanks guys!

mainly rust, oil leaks,
Trnnies get notchy with age, synchros wear, clutch is a PITA to do..
You mechanically inclined ?

Take off the intake pipe, spin the turbo ?
Look at the oil filler, see if it is gunked up ?
Definitely check engine codes, Jump TE1 and E1 in the
diagnostic port and look for codes, the check engine light will blink...

Not mechanically inclined, I know all the regular stuff to look for and I have plenty of experience working on cars (going to UTI for auto-tech training). Just checking for signs of things to come. Thanks.
