Fuel Cut kicking it at 3000?!?!

hey guys, i was getting on the freeway the other day after classes, and as i throttled up to around 3-4K, it felt like someone magically took my foot off the gas pedal. i read about the fuel cut happening when full boost is sensed, but i know for a fact that i was nowhere NEAR full boost...i was barely spooling up! any feed back or tips? thanks much!

That happened to me when i first took my 92 to the track....around 4k it wouldnt go anymore not even wanting to rev past that....some vacuum lines kept coming off every run :x


Might wanna try that ...could help :shrug: ...im sure the others CAN tell you whats up though

I had a crack on my iar hose under the turbo.
When I boosted, it leaked big time, the ECU detected knock
and back way off on timing. ran like shit under any load/rpm.

Good to check the Entire intake path for Any leaks.

FYI...fuel cut doesnt only kick in when at "full boost". fuel cut is usually accompanied by safe mode which will cut fuel at the first hint of boost.

so pat, what would you say caused it to kick in during that freeway run? it doesn't do it ALL the time...only when i "drive my car as though i were on the strip"....and even then, its not AS hard as i would be...bleah. thanks man!
