Ok well a Friend of mine has finnally finished his
1990 Camry AllTrac Proj
it has all the Drivetrain of a 97 Celica Alltrac
The 264bhp 3SGTE Motor has been Strengthen with new Forged Pistons and rods, ported Head, ACT clutch, Fidanza Flywheel, 3"custom Downpipe all the way thru to the N1 Muffler. Custom Intercooler Plumbing, F
its even a bit more quicker with HKS F-Conn piggy back unit.
All the 97Celica AllTrac Rotors and Calipers are on it. Also the Celica Gauge Cluster has been Fabbed in.

This is a NIce Sleeper and alot of Fun

Thats a cool little car. I think some black wheels would be fitting, and maybe coating the IC black. That way no one would have any idea of what was coming.

I have not seen many, if any; Camries without rust.
Needs a few dents & dings and a bit of dirt, and it will be Invisble. :)

Cool project !

Any tech info about swapping a 3S-GTE into one of these 88-91 All-trac Camrys available anywhere?

Should be pretty cake.
They came stock with the 3SFE, so same family.
Mechanicals should bolt right up.
You probably want to use a Celica Alltrac trans, if the prop shaft and driveshafts will bolt up to it.

Wiring will be the hardest part most likely.

actually if you stick to a gen 2 motor (1990) it should drop right in with a GTE harness and plug and go.

What?

How do you figure.

You are saying the 3SGTE wiring harness will connect right up to the Camry chassis harnesses?
Unless you have personally done it, or seen it first hand, I really doubt it would.

Just an intake....

All in the eye of the beholder. It is "Only' a Camry.
