Hi all, im new to this site but no newcomer to gt4's/alltrac's and i currently post on celicatech the mr2oc and TwoBrutal.

Current project is almost finished and is the worlds first alltrac V6, complete with its awd transmission.

wow, this is pretty cool!

what else needs to be done in order to finish?

Hi UNYTEDone and thanks.

Just has to have the battery relocated, rad fan wiring, and a little tidying and its done. Its taken me about a month from pulling the old 3sgte to today.
Cant wait to give it run! :)

Decided to do it cos no one else had. Apparently there have been discussions where its been tried but it always ended in failure due to the alltrac transfer case fouling on the rear cylinder bank.
Also cos of the displacement, and i wanted to retain the awd system- whats an alltrac without awd? :)
Plus i think the v6 is a vastly underrated engine, and i believe that given the right treatment its capable of Supra staright six levels of performance.
Theres a guy in NZ got one in a jet boat that pumps out 370bhp na!

Turbo's anyone? :D

Ill definitely skip between the different forums, that way if anyone else attempts this swap and has a problem i can be on hand to help hopefully. :)

He was a bit scared off this board due to discussions
on his engine choice; it being a truck engine. :-(
I have not heard of him on here for while.
Not since the 6-02.

You can Follow the install and build at CelicaTech.

Ahh... that's too bad. I don't think that was very cool of us to discourage someone from accomplishing something like this. I have a log in on Celica Tech. The only problem is that somehow my registration got screwed up and I can't post anything. I don't suppose someone could have the Moderator resend me the registration.

I was thinking that if it's possible to swap in a V6 in an ST165 to make a reliable yet still kind of fun daily driver AllTrac.
