ST205 motor in ST185

how hard is the swap? does it bolt right in or is there custom work to be done? is it worth it or just do the JDM 185 motor? planning on doing a swap this winter.

You're going to get mixed reviews, but if you need to replace the stock motor, yes it drops right in, just make sure you can get an ECU and harness and hopefully the WTA I/C.

I did the swap, and I love it. I think it's a good way to go if you want to have a little more power to start with and you're more interested in building up your handling. But if you want all out power, you could probably build a very strong 185 motor for the same price.

im pulling my motor to do a slow build up and i want to have one in there so i can still drive it. i think the 185 motor would be a cheaper swap, wouldn't it?
