Intake installed, bad idle!

just for clarification, does extending the afm wires cause this bad idling and other problems? or is all entirely the part of removing the screws on the afm. good thing i don't even know where the screws for an afm are!

what wires would you use and where exactly could you get them? I want to extend mine also when I move my battery to the back. I might be getting one of those braille batteries used for Wrx's which is only 11.5 Ib..anyone have any experiance with this battery?

Yes you can extend the AFM wires no problem. Mine are extended, as is almost every single other wire in my engine bay.

Normal wire is fine. Probably 16 gauge for the most part.

ST165 AFM's are different, and can't be used on the ST185.

so you do confirm that 16 gauge wires are the right extenders for the Afm right?
