Okay, after musing about upgrading the CT26 or buying a CT20B, i must ask, is there anything else i would really want to consider?

I've been told a T3/T4 setup with external gate is the goods, anythign else?

Power aims is anything 200-259awkw+

What turbo you select is based on more then just hp goals, need to know how high you want to rev and where you want your strongest powerband too. I'm building my own turbo from mitsu components to suit my specialized needs. I would recommend that more people take that route, not only will it minimize wasted efficency and lag (threshold), but it's going to cost me about $400 total as opposed to $600+ for a prebuilt unit.

I've got a brand new GT25-400R that has been ceramic coated for sale on Ebay I'd sell you. Made almost 370 whp with it.

What about a supra CT-26. I don't know how much different the turbine housings are. I do know they are capable of 300rwhp. Ugraded they are capable of 400rwhp.

The MK3 Supra CT-26's turbine is about .2" larger then ours with a larger housing, compressor is the same size. Will spool up slower then ours does. Just because a turbo makes a certain ammount of power on a 3L I6 doesn't mean you will make the same ammount. Honestly, Just get a Garrett T3/T4 or if you have cash get a GT series.

An upgraded ct-26 that is capable of 400rwhp is capabable of that on any engine as long as you can reach full boost.

The ct-26 turbine is WAY too small for the 7M, and get's really good spool at 2300RPM.

I have a GT67 on my 7M, and don't get full spool until around 4K. Fine for me.

If I stuck a 7M housing on my 3SGTE turbo, I would get slower spool, but possibly better top end. That is what I was wondering.

What is the A/R and trim of the 3S turbo?

What is the A/R and trim of your t3/t4 hybrids?
