1st gen 3sgte in mr2

Hey just wondering if an 88 celica all-trac 3sgte will fit in my 91 na mr2 and will this be an easy swap?could i use my 5sfe tranny? would i need all the celica's wiring harness? what other parts would i need to buy or use?

Yes it will fit. But that model 3sgte was never offered in the MR2.
It makes it a Bit more complicated ?
Would need the ecu and wiring harness...

If you have to ask, it is not.

Yes you could use it.

Yes; ECU harness at Least.

How complete an engine do you have ?
If you got a front cut, it would make it a bit easier
since you would not have to search for any needed sensors.
I would guess you would at Least need the MAP sensor. AFM
etc...

it's cause my brother has an all trac and he's going to part it out and he said he'll give me the engine so i got a complete motor. nope never have done in engine swap but there's always a first
