3sgte awd tranny in a 1988 gt fwd chassis , will it work?

1.) will it fit and mount space wise ?

2.) if i remove the rear drive assembly off of the back of the tranny, (that is used for the rear wheels on the awd) and cap it off with a cover plate, would it send all the engines power to the front wheels, or would it still send power towards the rear of the tranny, causing a loss of power to the front wheels ?

it will fit
use diff and diff cover from a fwd gearbox, or mr2 also will work
and yes there is a thread with pictures regarding this on celicatech..

asking the same question in 3 forums on here and on all the celica websites does not get you answers faster. the search button certainly does though. look up fwd e153 transmissions. i have removed all your other topics. please don't repeat.
