Western Canada Celi Meet - Vernon, BC Aug 7,8,9 2009

This year's Western Canada Celi & Deli Meet will take place August 7th, 8th, and 9th 2009. To mix it up a little, not only am I inviting Celicas to come out this year, but I'm inviting Mitsubishi Delicas too. I'll be entering one of each

Friday, August 7th
4-9pm: Downtown car show and side walk sale (this show is free)

Saturday, August 8th
Poker run, but I was thinking we could do a cruise of our own this day.

Sunday, August 9th
The main car show ending at 3pm. $25 per car to enter, $20 per car if you register before July 1st.

I'll post more details as they become available.

If I get my car running by then, then I'll definitely join in. My car is an '86 GT-S but I am working on a "little" project for it so I'll be able to keep up with all those GT-Fours.


Edit: I just viewed that picture album from last years meet and found it funny because before I got my Celica I was looking at pictures of Celicas on google and I stumbled onto that album and was in aw from looking at those beauty Celicas.

I was thinking for the out of towners that they could arrive Friday night. If they make that show, great, if not, no biggie. Saturday will be a cruise or two of some sort. On Sunday, hopefully everyone will be down for the main car show in Polson Park. After the show at about 3pm everyone tends then heads home. ...something like that.

With Delicas hopefully joining us this year, there may be an off road portion to the Saturday events. Just an idea at this point. Don't worry, I'm not taking my Celica off road and I don't expect anyone else to take their Celicas off road either...

Up to you on how long you want to be there. Saturday is the most fun for cruising around and messing about beautiful Okanagan.

Sunday is more relaxed where we park at the show with all the muscle cars. 8)
