Ft.Lauderdale Meet 05/24/09 - Information and Directions

This going to be a big Toyota Meeting...

Greetings, the NewCelica.org community and I have been planning this meet for a couple of days now. As agreed upon by various members the meet will be located in the Ft. Lauderdale area. The location has been selected as Dave & Busters located in Hollywood, for those that don't know this its a large adult oriented arcade with a full restaurant and sports bar to my knowledge. The date that the meet will be held is Sunday,May 24th. We will invite all models of Toyota's,and all generation of Toyota's,such as Celica's,All Trac Celica's,Mr2's,Supra's,Corolla's,Matrix,Camry,Lexu s,Scion,Etc. Also don't be surprised if you see some Nissan's up there as well

Time
I think a good time to meet their would be between 3 and 4pm. This would allow time for people to view the cars in the daylight, as well as if people wanted to go to dinner or something, then people (like dan,Me,)and a some others can show off their color changing under bodies when the sun starts to drop. I too have work early monday morning so no hesitations for people leaving at a reasonable hour ;-) However this is negotiable if this time doesn't work for anyone it can be changed.

We did this meet back in July of 08 and it was the best and most successful meet I have ever been to for Toyota's

Coming From the North:
-Take 95-S
-Take Exit 21, Sheridan EAST
-Left at Oakwood Blvd
-Dave and busters will be in a large plaza on your left.

I thank everybody for there idea's and wanting another meet,spread the word out to everybody Please...

I should be able to come this time with one of the Alltracs. Count me in.

i might be able to go depending on how my car is running. hopefully i can get my suspension shit done and my oil leak figured out. if not i might be able to convince my friend to drive his eclipse gst down.

I hope you can get your car fix,on my Alltrac,the 3s-gte seems to leak the most from the valve cover gasket,oil drain plug,distributor,and the cam shaft seals...
We hope to see you in 5 weeks

We hope so,Its always good to see a rare Alltrac,I love mine to death.
There is not to many of them left on the street these days...

I also have a spare alltrac hood I'm going to take, it might be a good place to sell it.

I will be in Dania Beach for that weekend,so I am like 10 minutes from that meet in Hollywood...
I am looking forward to May 3rd National Sport Compact Racing Association (NSCRA)-PBIR at Palm Beach International Raceway as well

A driving buddy from south florida would be awesome. Is there some sort of caravan maybe from the lexus guys or something?

I'd say id be your driving buddy, but your coming from way further south. I'm only 15 mins away.

I am sure there will be some type of Caravan from the lexus guys,Supra guys,Corolla guys and so on. You can check the different websites on the list and see who is riding out,you can become a member to that site

Hey, wow you still have the black 93?
I stopped to look at it when you were in north FL trying to sell it a couple of years back.
I bought and sold a 185 since then but I'll be bringing my 6gen to the meet.
Too bad Gary's not still down here, then with you + Pat there would be 3 black 93s lol.
