Do you have a build on your rally car? I may have just caught the rally bug... also love the light conversion, how'd you do that? Super-slick! Like the mud
. Did you have to make most of your rally parts or is there an actual aftermarket for them?
Me, rally?

There are some TTE manuals floating around somewhere but I have not been able to located them (if anyone finds them please let me know). I don't have the build sheet for my car but all the rally modifications including the wrc headlight conversion were done when the car was new and it was built along with seven others at the same time but then American rally kinda crapped out and some of the cars got balled up. I saw one of her twins at the Sandblast rally this year.
There is a small aftermarket for rally shocks, the DMS seem to hold up good for me. Most of the rest of the rally stuff is all custom built.

If people are serious about making rally cars, your first trip should be to the FIA and order yourself a homologation rule book specific to the st165...it will give details of roll cages etc etc to enable you to produce a rally suitable st165 or any car for that matter.
heres the web site...finding the specific homolgation papers might take some hunting around and they will cost typically about £55 ($80)
http://www.fia.com/en-GB/sport/Pages/Homologations.aspx
I have the homologation book for the st205 and its fascinating.
Also TTE abandoned the headlight down position shortly after entering the 165 in rallying, and opted for the permanent headlight up position as this allowed more airflow into the engine bay, kept things cooler and helped with the power that the engine produced eciding that the extra drag this created was worth it for the extra cooling.
(Yes I have just bought that new Rally Giants Celica GT-Four Book
