hey,
I dropped a 90-91 st185 into my celica and I am using a Carlos Edition wiring harness, I was able to rewire the this harness to make it work with the ecu that came with the 90/91 engine, I was able fire it up and everything. I left the project in the garage for 2 months waiting for the axles and tranny parts, today I tried starting it again but it won't start, it cranks but won't start. When I turn on the ignition key, I noticed the ENGINE LIGHT doesnt come on. And when I turn the key to off, the engine light appears. I don't know what is wrong, I haven't touched it at all but it seems the problem is that it is not reading the ECU. If you are an expert with wiring, please help me out..
