Sundays work for me as well...just depends if I'm in town on that Sunday or off working. Sunday September 26 is the soonest I could make it. Obviously I'd have to run it by the wife but I'm sure she can live without my greatness for a few hours... :twisted: I think a cool meet idea would be to head to a coin carwash somewhere with all our rides, give em a good clean, perhaps take some nerdy car-porn pics afterwards, grab a bite to eat and cuss about how much we love/hate the damn car, and call it a meet...perhaps get a legal cruise going on too(none of the 200km/h chinanigans that we sometimes pull lol).
EDIT: I noticed that people always talk about setting these meets up but rarely anything happens and the conversations drag on and on and eventually die off. The details of the meet are as follows, and they can be changed if need be, but at least we can say we have shit setup to start with.
Details:
When:
- Sunday September 27, 2009 @ 2:00pm.
Where:
- Initially meet @ Terwillegar Dog Park.
- From Terwillegar we head out to the Henday going eastbound to 91st street and head to the coin carwash @ the northeast corner of 91st street and Edwards Drive.
- After the wash(assuming your car needs it and you participate) we head back out onto the Henday going eastbound again, and make a turnoff at the Sherwood Park Freeway(take it as fast as you want...mua ha ha) and head west into Edmonton. We'll make our way to the Gold Bar/Capilano river valley parks which should make for some great pictures.
- After the pictures/hanging out we can go for an early dinner @ Dallas Pizza and Steakhouse(AMAZING PLACE).
- From there the meet is done and we all go our seperate ways for another few years when the next meet happens...haha.
If anyone who is able to make this wishes to make any changes feel free. As of now I'm able to make it and I don't see this changing so we have 1 confirmed member showing

I also don't know if we care to do a carwash type thing(I could try and get the wife out in a bikini and we wash our cars and give us beer but I'd probably get slapped pretty good for asking) as it might be nice to show up at the meet with our cars already nicely washed. Anyhow shoot your ideas at this and we'll see how it all turns out.

Ah shit...these cars are cursed! LOL. Hopefully the woman had insurance. At least you will have shit to rant about when we meet up. Haha. And you are very right, it is the 27th not the 26th. The 26th is a Saturday...I was looking at the calendar wrong. Just to make sure it's set for SUNDAY the "27th!!". lol
Anyhow I just got unpacked in camp and have to be up at 4:30am so I'm off to bed. Hopefully nothing happens to my car while I'm away...otherwise i'll be joining you in the autobody shop.
ianpen, if you can make it that would be cool. Nothing wrong at all with a stock car. There are many times I wish I had left mine completely stock, but I'm into it too far now to turn back.

Just confirming I can 100% make the meet on Sunday. I will end up washing my car beforehand though. If anyone who shows up doesn't even need to wash their car we can just skip that part and cruise to the other river valley park for pictures and then food. I know most people will probably want their cars clean before the meet...you know the saying about a first impression...haha. Anyways I'll be at Terwillegar dog park as per the google earth pics and will wait there for a while for any other members who are going to make the meet.

Oh yeah, I plan on keeping things at a legal speed limit throughout the cruise. I don't care to come off to the public as some retard and potentially make our group look bad in the process. I do however plan on taking the onramps and corners at a speed worthy of shitting thy pants.

I'm not even sure how many people are going to make the meet. I'm going nomatter what...even if I'm the only one showing up...the car needs one last ride before she goes to sleep for the winter. If nobody else shows at the Terwillegar dog park I'll phone you to let you know I'll be heading straight over to Gold Bar/Capilano area. See ya in a few hours.
