FAQ: Resizing and posting picture

Resizing Picture

1) Open the picture using "Microsoft Paint"
(Start-->Programs-->Accessories-->Paint)

2) Click on "Image" menu, and then "Stretch/Skew"
(You can also press the shortcut: Ctrl+W)

3) In "Stretch" area, enter percentages for horizontal and vertical.
To maintain the aspect ratio of the image, enter the same % for
horizontal and vertical. For example, if you enter 50%, image will be resized in half.

4)Click OK and do not forget to save it (or save as)

Posting Picture from your computer

Free image hosting:
http://imageshack.us/

Click "Browse", select the file from your computer, click "Open", and then "host it!"
After image has been uploaded, in the Hotlink for forums (1), copy the URL. Then paste the hotlink in your post.

Tip: Image will be clickable and linked to imageshack.us. If you would like to avoid this, delete some part of the code from the hotlink.

Hey guys, a fantastic free program for minor photo editing/cropping i found is Irfanview www.irfanview.com

It is millions of times better than paint, and lets you save by quality and file type, and is super easy to use.
