The car in question is a '90 Alltrac. Just received my full RC swap and need some questions answered. I have searched and found some info but I want to be 100% sure first. I do understand that I may have to change around some of the connector terminals if I use the USDM harness.
Would it be easier to just lengthen the RC harness where it goes through the bulkhead rather than trying to make the USDM harness work with the RC AFM/ECU? (since the rc afm uses one more terminal in the connector than the alltrac does)
Also, does the 22 pin ecu connector need rewired for use in the RC ecu? I matched up the pinouts for that and it appears the USDM connector does not have as many of the terminals in use that the RC does.
I think that's it for now. If anyone has done something similar I would love to see how you did it.
