injector resistor interchange?

Hey guys, just wondering if 2nd and 3rd gen resistor packs are interchangeable. 2nd gen is 440cc and 3rd gen are 540cc injectors, I believe. I think the resistance is between 5-7 ohms on both of them, but need to be sure. Part numbers are 28515-74090 for 2nd gen, 28515-74100 for 3rd gen. Just ordered a 3rd gen injector resistor pack for my second gen, 2nd gen pack has been discontinued. Hope I'm not ruined, lol. I'm think they're both 5-wire round, grey plugs with orange and black wires.

i hope they are because I had to change the plugg out to use the gen2 because the gen3 was not included with the swap..

I'm running a gen 3 engines ecu and injectors with a 185 loom and resistors. No issues so far.

I was reading and I heard that because the gen3 is 550 cc and the usdm had 440's it would run rich?? Do you have a wideband or any black smoke?? I hope it works because the damn engine dealer has not got back to me. sooo. yeah :doh:

I have the 2nd gen resistor pack and a rev3 engine. I hope to be doing some wideband testing in the near future.
