Hills down by lake austin are GREAT. There are some really nice roads up here that I was setting up for a cruise. Out towards palo pinto.. I think it totalled 2 or 3 hours. Austin would be much better though.

Ideas?

Vadar's running & R2's still alive if you want to come by & visit you're welcome to anytime except for Sunday afternoon - watching the Cowboys game @ 3:15pm.

we're both sick with some sort of crap so may not be super peppy but if you want to come on by just call or text joe or PM me & let us know.

Sounds good. I'll have my whole family with me so, I'll have to try and get a break and sneak out for a bit.
Tonight I'll probably stay in funky town and then tomorrow up near frisco. Not sure exactly where you guys live in the metroplex. I'll pm or text later when I get everything squared away.

I think the real question should be who's up & running?

Vadar's running, but I am about 98% sure he has a BHG so taking a trip in him isn't something I want to do until I can properly diagnose the probs.
On top of that the inspection is expired & I'm in no mood to get it to pass when it isn't even being driven.

I figure we can piggy back a meet on another groups meets. The 3000GT guys Texas meet is in Fort Worth sometime in Sept. Im sure I can get Satan back up and going by then.

too many things going on, too much to do that has to get done.

I'm running, I just have to get my inspection updated. I would like to do a meet with driving involved. I've got to check in with the MR Spyder guys and see when they're doing their meet. I'm pretty sure that is an annual thing. It was pretty good last year. I haven't heard from Paul (Mixmaster) lately. He was up and running and might be in for something.

yoooooooooooo!

I got super busy with the new house. My car is sitting at EMS powered with the motor out and new WRC motor next to it, waiting to go in. I finally got the missing parts I needed so should be up by the end of this month. Let me know if any of you are coming through or if you want to try and hit one of the local runs (Supra and MR2).

I thought Satan and Vadar were both back and running??? That sux!

Here's my email if any of you are looking for me

Keep me posted!

Vadar is running, just pretty sure the motor has a blown head gasket (BHG) will have to do a test to confirm, but it is showing a lot of the symptoms of head gasket failure unfortunately.
It's ok for driving across town, but I don't want to take an extended trip & have to tow it back home.
