Power steering noise

Postby jaydog82 » Mon Feb 27, 2012 4:27 am

My power steering pressure hose up on the passenger side osaking tones of noise. Kinda like a high pitch fluid noise. This is on my st165. I'll post a video later, does anyone have any ideas?

Have you checked the fluid level? You might be low, or have a leak. The pump will groan loud if there is insufficient fluid to keep the hydraulic pressure. Or, it may just be time for a new pump.
