stroker question
I'm currently looking into 2 different routes to go with my engine build and want to get some thoughts on the 2 options.
Option 1 : 2.2 liter stroker motor using 3s block, 5s crank, 3s head
Option 2 : 2.3 liter stroker motor using 5s block and 3s head
I'm currently looking for around 400hp and am trying to determine if going the 2.3 liter option would be worth the extra expense and displacement. I know a lot of you guys have these motors so I'm curious if you'd recommend one over the other and the reasons why.
THANKS!

Re: stroker question
If you're only considering 400hp (wheel or crank), the 3s block with 5s crank will do fine, with less headaches.

Re: stroker question
If you just forge your 3s and spend good money on a stand alone and Quality Turbo and you'll crush 400 wheel or crank.
I personally bored my block .40 over and put 87 mill pistons effectively making it a 2.1 Liter with 272,273 cams and a Greddyt67 25g and an Apexi PFC.
Im not against displacement increase if you can afford it but your goals do not require that at all.

Re: stroker question
One of the reasons I was thinking of doing a stroker build was for the additional torque. Thanks for the quick responses!

Re: stroker question
What about a 2.2L with a 5S block, 5S crank, and 3S head?
