what does this button do?

what does this button do?

hey guys, just curious what this "ECON" button does? I have seen that button on the new Honda CR-V and I think on the Hondas its for more fuel economy :withstupid: P.S. i can't use the A/C after I have pressed it??

I think it's basically a "vent" button. So you can get cool outside air w/out having to run the AC. "Economy" because that saves you gas, I guess?

ECON button puts the A/C system into an economy mode.
If you going hard on the throttle (hillclimb/race) it will turn the A/C off to save you fuel, but all it really seems to do is draw more power/drink more fuel than just using the regular A/C button
