GBI: Ultra Racing braces
A good friend of mine who is a local shop owner is trying to get dealer status with Ultra Racing, and seeing as the US and Canadian resellers for UR don't seem very motivated to sell products for our cars so I'm gathering interest in a GB for their stuff. Prices are still up in the air but the more interest I can show in this the better the deal will be and the faster we can get full access to their parts in NA.
The main UR site: http://www.ultraracing.my/
ST184 parts: http://www.ultraracing.my/Catalog.asp?B ... %29&page=1
ST185 parts: http://www.ultraracing.my/Catalog.asp?B ... %29&page=1
Some of the parts are listed for the 184 but not the 185, I'll get them to verify if more than what is listed transfers over (like the tower bars and front swaybar). Everything for the 185 applies to the 184 as well. Any questions feel free to ask.
ST185:
Side Lower Bar / Side Floor Bar (pair)

ST183:
Front Anti-roll Bar / Front Sway Bar / Front Stabilizer bar 27mm (fits ST184 and *should* fit ST185)
1) underscore

4)
5)
Front Strut Bar / Front Tower Bar (unable to find the OEM bar part # but strut top hats are the same for ST183/4/5 = should fit?)
1) underscore

5)
Rear Anti-roll Bar / Rear Sway Bar / Rear Stabilizer Bar (confirmed ST183 ONLY)

Re: GBI: Ultra Racing braces
I should also add that I know a lot of people here have multiple vehicles, so if you see anything that you like for another chassis add it to the list using the UR product ID and I'll get you pricing.

Re: GBI: Ultra Racing braces
I might be interested in a set of the side floor braces and the fender braces but of course that's all cost dependent.
Interesting how they used a 4WS GT-R Celica for designing parts; I wouldn't be too confident about the sway bars being interchangeable from that model to other 18X Celicas however…

Re: GBI: Ultra Racing braces
So far the list is just for interest, so no real commitment is expected until we get pricing.
Is that what ST183 means? Shouldn't the front bits of all xT18x chassis be interchangeable at the very least?
edit: the ST183 front sway bar part number matches the ST184, and I believe the ST185 is the same shape but maybe a different thickness?
The rear bar is ST183 specific (damn!)

I can check shipping but for you it'd likely be easier to contact an Aussie distributor.

I'll post up some eBay prices for reference later.

eBay pricing (for reference)
Rear strut tower bar: $140
Fender braces: $180
Front lower brace: $180
Rear cross bar: $180
I'll let my friend know of the interest so far so he can pass it along to Ultra and start getting more info on pricing and 183 to 185 compatibility for the other pieces.

Re: GBI: Ultra Racing braces
I am very interested in this if he can beat the eaby pricing (bear in mind the ebay prices include free shipping).
I have an ST185 and a MK2 MR2 turbo (that's right 2 3SGTE motors in one driveway) would be very interested in do a complete bracing kit for both cars(F/R upper and lower, fenders, ect), my cars already have upgraded sway bars.

Re: GBI: Ultra Racing braces
Im interested in the front lower brace and side floor braces pending pricing and shipping.
I purchased the rear strut tower brace on ebay a few months back and was actually surprised that it fit as well as it did for not being an adjustable/pivoting bar. definitely changed the character of the car in turns. Ill try to remember to post some pics later.
