ST165 Window Arm Update

Does anyone have new wipers that are more universal with current designs? Referring to the mounting point that wipers connect to. Most new cars have the 'U' shape connecting assembly at the end of the wiper arm.

If there are no modernizing diy's I may have to cut and weld mine and include instructions.

I believe so. Most all of the newer Toyota cars have this updated design. Can't imagine the newer Celica to be any different. As far as mixing and matching parts- seems unlikely that any newer Celica wiper arms will fit properly with the right dimensions. Never know though!

Well it was sunny with afternoon showers forecasted. So I decided to try the window wiper modifications today!

All in all, it took only 2 hours from start to finish and they work amazingly well. I will post pictures tonight.
