Hi,
I am a MR2 guy normally over at MR2OC. Everyone on there has 2nd or 3rd gens, I have a 1st gen head and fuel setup on a 2nd gen block. The fuel rails on 2nd and 3rd gens are different than the gen 1 being side feed instead of top feed and I believe there is a difference in pulsation dampener as well. Most guys on that forum will need to mod their fuel rails or FPRs from ATS when upgrading turbos, or even replacing with a top feed fuel rail to fit larger injectors.
My question is, does the top feed gen 1 fuel rail suffer from any problems? Will I be able to simply upgrade to larger injector sizes instead of buying a wolfcatz or speed-source top feed rail?
thanks in advanced..
