ok well diving the car to day my oil light bliped on for a split second so i pulled over as fast as i could :x (i think the oil pump failed)
so the problem is money and sourcing parts so im thinking 5sfe are cheap and plentiful easy to get parts for i thought about a 5sgte (5s bottom end 3s head) but thats not really a cheap way to go if im going to do it right so i was thinking what about a just 5sfe with my 3sgte turbo kit and if possible the 3sgte ecu and harness and sensors as any one here done this and how did it run (or can it be done)
oh and im talking a stock 5sfe with like 10psi (i ran a stock 5sfe on 6psi with a stock harness and ecu and fcd in my gts but never tryed a 3sgte ecu) so what do you guys think? would this be the cheapest alternative? i want to make some power but with something i can drive more and work on less and a cheaper when i have to work on it
