I would like some advice on the parts that I've listed above. Has anyone seen, heard, or experienced anything overwhelmingly terrible with any of the parts that I've linked above. Also regarding the McPherson Struts, how well do they perform compared to a more up to date suspension system? Is this still one of the best systems for the Celica? Regarding the turbo, is there a turbo that is consistently more reliable than the CT20B? One that will give the same performance factor but with more reliability, if it exists what is it? Any advice on the parts above would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I wouldn't give emspowered two wooden nickels of my money. Check their feedback on mr2oc.com.

For the suspension, depends if you want to do upgraded USDM macpherson strut suspension, or if you want to convert to ST205 Super-strut suspension. If you want to convert to ST205 suspension there are other parts you'll need to get the whole system. TEIN is the only manufacturer of aftermarket replacements for Super-strut cars that I know of. If you order TEINs, make sure you are getting the right part number for what you want (super-strut or standard strut).

If you just want an ST205 look-alike type build, then I'd just get standard teins for your USDM year/model.

Whether fwd or awd, i would highly suggest a less aggressive single disk clutch that's more suitable for your goals.

1) Just DIY the intake (Vibrant adapter + couplers), there's no point in trying to get anything from EMS. Plus it's for an MR2, not a Celica.

2) MacPherson refers to the style of suspension, not a brand. I'm not entirely sure how you would upgrade the suspension to a different style without a tonne of work. It's not the best system for street use (but can still be made to work quite well), but keep in mind out cars were originally made to go off gravel jumps at 100+ km/h. Also I wouldn't order anything from that supplier as they don't even differentiate between a 202 and a 205, they should have completely different spring rates.

Great feedback, i appreciate all the insight.
AWD is a must, and I plan on making the swap to that during the build.

Underscore- The reasoning for the MR2 intake was because it has the 3SGTE in it, so I knew the intake would fit.

Lumbercis- I want a funtctional ST205. Not a look alike. Thanks for the insight on the suspension.

GT4_DRED- Are you suggesting the single versus the twin because the HP output will not require the twin plate or is there another reason I am not aware of?

I'll look out for that website, thanks for the heads up. (thats why I posted links, i figured if there was a shit website you guys would see it)

And just to be clear, im running a 6th Gen Celica not the 5th. Just wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page with that.
