This is Jegs house version of the heater. Even nicer, comes with brackets and much cheaper. Also has install plumbing.

You can run a cage pipe across under dash without worry about the HVAC in your way. You can attach or refabricate steering clumn better when you have a cross pipe under the dash....

Also in my rally car I don't use the valve at all. When the fan is off you feel no heat at all. Instead of a their fan speed selector I used a 3 positin switch. Off, slow, fast. That is it.
Cage almost done! Such a good feeling.
Rear sub frame and diff strap back from powder coating, and Klue's solid bushing and mount and installed my ST205 diff
TWM short shifter with shifter extension, most contradicting purchase I've ever made lol

Intercooler core showed up, yup im building my own!
This is the biggest top mount intercooler you can fit (height wise) i could of went wider but i didnt feel i needed to with the current output of the engine. Some of you might wonder why I didnt go front mount, well in ice racing, if i hit a bank of another car, it would be the first thing to get damaged.. Its nice and safe under the hood haha.
Started to mock up some tanks

I plan to do Zinc plating from here http://www.mmplating.com/index.html for all the hardware pieces including these big washers when I do my bushings.
I'm sure there are other places that can do that as well.

Instead of using shifter extender raise the entire shifter asembly off the floor by machining 4 cylindrical spacers about 2 inches long. Shifter extender creates alot of slop. That is a common Evo Celica rally mod.
Well since I am making my own intercooler i also made an adapter for the throttle body as it was ripped and at one point someone tried to repair it with electrical tape.
And i finally finished the cage, notice how tight everything is and how the main hoop is right centered between the small window and door frame. My gf spent 2 days painting for me as i spent enough time in there welding lol

Amazing work so far!
You should keep making those throttle body adapters, I'm sure a lot of us would like something better than the stock one as it is prone to breaking.
How are you keeping the windows up with all the window hardware removed?
