Not the widest tires but i figured id contribute.

Rims 16x6.5 42mm offset
Tires 205/50
25mm spacers

Notes: Fenders where rolled by previous owner. White fender is not rolled and rubs a bit. 7th gen celica 5 spoke rims are almost the same dimensions except the offset is 39mm... only 3mm difference maybe this will help someone.

Hey fellas. Since someone ran 17x7.5 konigs with 30mm spacers and 225 n3000's. Hes about exactly what I want. But I have a different since rim I want to run. My question is, with a 17x8 225 what offset would I need in order to run flush with very minimal spacer?
O yea and its on a st165 :)

sorry for the late reply.. for 17x8s, i know that a +30offset will definitely not work.. so you might want to go something lower than that.. maybe like +25 or lower offset?? not quite sure.. but you shouldn't need any spacers with a 17x8..

I have 15x8 +25 with 225/45 bfg rivals on my 165 and they poke out close to an inch in the front with very little camber. Almost flush in the rear with no spacer and little camber. Going to run -2.5 or more camber bc I plan to autox and track it again and also to get it to not poke too much bc it looks way too hella flush.

I was curious if anyone knows how a 15x8 +6 offset would fit?

Went from 215/35/18 on all four corners to 225/40/18 rears and 215/40/18 fronts. Wheels are 18x8s (et40 re/ et35 fr) with 20mm spacers now added to the rears..She looks and feels smoother on the road, but still looking forward to mounting the 17x8s/17x9s over the winter.

Did you have to roll your fenders to fit those 18"

Completely rolled the rears under. There was some rubbing in the rear, about 2 inches up from where I rolled, but keep in mind that the car is pretty low. I didn't have the GC setup at the time, so I couldn't raise it up the inch it needed. A little massaging took care of it though :D

Hi guys.

I'm thinking of converting to a 5x114 wheel on my ST165.

Just wanna check all the maths.

Stock ST165 are 14x6 +39mm offset.
The rims I want to install are 16x7 +18mm

Tire size will be about the same, the 16" runs 205/50

I'm trying to figure out the offset, and what kind of spacer I will need. Offset calculator says I need a 34mm spacer to push the tire out more to the outer edge, just want to double check the math here.

I will be putting the car on coilovers and dropping it down a bit, essentially, what kind of 5x100 to 5x114 adapter/spacer will I need? I'm not looking for some super flush look, I have a fender roller if necessary.
