Shortening Power Steering Hardlines

Tried searching but cant find any info on shortening the power steering hard-lines that run just past the reservoir and to the front bumper area. I'm planning on installing a u-line just after the reservoir to delete all the additional lines, but wasn't sure what the implications might be. Eventually I'll be sealing my pwr steering rack, but would like to give this a shot for now. Thought? TIA

I'm assuming you mean the lines that go to the power steering cooler up front?

yes, but on the 165 its just additional hard-lines behind the front grill (in the path of airflow).
