im gonna be running a 15X8 with a +12 offset, rolled and pulled fenders with an extremely low suspension set up. im going to put some 215/50/15 on them.

edit: im gonna be running some 15X8 or 9 with a +12 in the rear to sit flush, maybe poke a bit, and then in the front itll be +17 or something like that to sit flush. im gonna take out my fender liners, or mod them so there is no rubbing and have my fender pulled, rolled and flared. but im to have a serious drop on the car when this happens. im trying to run Diamond racing steelies. theyll make the custom width. dont know how much, they never got back to me.

i like Tarmac style. very aggressive.

15x7.5 +20 Rota Slipstreams w/ 205/60/15 rubbers, need to drop down to a 195. Going to get a buddy of mine to roll the fenders, then a set of coilovers will keep everything from rubbing.

ive done a lot of research, and from what ive found, i you have like a +30 offset with a maybe a 7.5-8 inch wide rim, they will sit flush, and they wont rub too bad.

im looking into getting the 16x8 +0 XXR 002's or maybe going with the 17x9 + 12 all the way round XXR 522's. either way. im still looking. may not have my celi much longer, but ill keep going so everyone else knows.

Man to tell you the truth I have never measured the offset, Ill have to get on that and let you know. I am using 30mm spacers on the rear to get them as flush as the fronts and had to roll the fenders.

Hey there, looking for a set of wheels for my st165, Found a set of RS- GTs Drifts, 17s, I believe the offset is et42, would there be anyway of knowing if these would fit without actually having a width? They have 215/45/17 Tyres on
Thanks

Well, I am wanting to install my spare Enkei RC-G4 rims onto my ST165.

Here are the rims specs: 15x7 et50

Without spacers the car cannot drive as the tires slightly rub against the strut tubes. Here is how it looks on the car though:

What is the proper spacer that is needed to properly fit these rims? I should note, I'm not the biggest fan of spacers- but this isn't a race car. Should be fine for general street use.

had diamond racing 15*7 et0 with 12mm ront and 25mm rear spacers. that was pretty flush on mine. won't come close to fitting a stock 165. but i didn't like them so they are for sale.
now i'm running drag dr37 15*7 et38 (or something like that, don't remember) with 50mm rear and 37mm front spacers.

Hey guys, Just got some rims for my 165, quite nice 5 spoke, shadowed chrome DTM's. 17 x 7.5.
I currently have 215/50/17 tyres on, the rears rub against the bottom of the strut tower. While the fronts fit in, they hit the plastic guard liner when turning, and probably will hit the guards over bumps.

Just wanting to know If I got 205/40/17's, which would be 20mm shorter sidewall then the 215/50/17's, would they fit, or would I still have clearance issues? I may have to space the rear wheels out, but I want to know for certain that these won't hit the guards, or prevent turning without intrusion, As don't really wanna purchase four tyres, only to find out that is not going to work, and then having to look for smaller rims.

Vehicle is lowered at the moment on king springs, no adjustments to the shocks, but looking to get adjustable's as soon as my funds are a bit higher.

If any of you guys have had a similar problem, I'd love to hear from you, as these rims just really make it stand out, suit it nicely, and would love to keep them.

Here's a pic of my 165 off the ground on axle stands, rears weren't able to freely rotate, and fronts were able to move only 2 full turns of the steering wheel, rather then the 2 and 3/4.

Thanks

Not the widest tires but i figured id contribute.

Rims 16x6.5 42mm offset
Tires 205/50
25mm spacers

Notes: Fenders where rolled by previous owner. White fender is not rolled and rubs a bit. 7th gen celica 5 spoke rims are almost the same dimensions except the offset is 39mm... only 3mm difference maybe this will help someone.

Hey fellas. Since someone ran 17x7.5 konigs with 30mm spacers and 225 n3000's. Hes about exactly what I want. But I have a different since rim I want to run. My question is, with a 17x8 225 what offset would I need in order to run flush with very minimal spacer?
O yea and its on a st165 :)
