actually not that hard, just time consuming, at least four hours of work. i have an entire steering assembly for a st165 available you didnt say what model and year it is.
Didn't take hours, maybe an hour. Remove the bolts completely, soak in wd40 or the same lube, push up, pull down you're out. Remembering the orientation the coupler was. Install in reverse.
Got it out, but the shaft above it is loose and wiggly.... guess its further up than that u joint! How the heck do you GET to that? Can't seem to find all the bolts holding the steering column boot on..
