ST185 RC WTA intercooler on ST165.

I have an 88' 165 with a 2nd Gen exhaust manifold and CT27. I have purchased a WTA from an RC St185 and am in the process of collecting all of the parts I will need for the intercooler swap.

I am having a hard time finding some info on this swap by using the search function. I see a lot of info on the 205 WTA swaps, but none for the 185 WTA on a 165.

Has anybody completed this swap, and if so, would you mind divulging your knowledge on the subject?

Ive done it. What info/parts are you looking for?

Does the intercooler match up with the throttle body without modification?

Does the RC intercooler bolt up where the stock 165 cooler went?

I bought it off someone on this forum, with only the intercooler. I made the three brackets that hold it down; fairly easy. The cooling inlet lines are bigger, so i had to find new hoses that would enable two different size hard lines, 1/2 stock, to 5/8 RC if i remember correctly. As far as the mating to the throttle body, i think that i cut down the tube on the cooler, and somhow re-formed it to not be on such an angle, compared to the throttle body angle. Also had to re-clock the turbo. Lots of farting around, but well worth it.
